THE PROCESS

The first part of the process involves the removal and labeling of your cabinet doors. Labeling ensures smooth reinstallation once we finish. When possible, hinges are replaced with modern soft-close hinges.

Once removed, the doors are transported in our van to our shop in Northport.  They are then degreased and sanded both by hand and machine. Proper sanding is critical to ensure adhesion of the primer.  And then on to spraying the primer. Once dry, the primed surfaces are inspected for defects and spot putty is applied where needed. Then the doors are finish-sanded to a perfectly smooth profile. And finally, the finish is spray-applied, typically two to three coats are perfect. Once cured, we deliver them back to your home and reinstall them on your newly refinished cabinet boxes.

The process can be divided into THREE EASY STEPS:

Assessment & Selection

Pick Your Colors!

We provide a free assessment to help you decide if respraying is the best solution for your needs. Then choose from hundreds of different colors and a variety of paint styles to give your kitchen the perfect look.

Preparation & Performance

Spray It!

The removed doors and drawers are taken to our shop, located in Northport, to be sprayed. Then we isolate your cabinet structure by masking-off floors, walls, counters and backsplashes. Upon isolation, we spray the structure to match the cabinet exteriors. Your kitchen cabinets will have that “just bought look.”

Installation & Clean-up

Tidy Up!

After spraying your kitchen we return with your carefully packed doors and drawers to reinstall them. Subsequently, we perform a full cleanup of your entire kitchen and install new or previous hardware.
